Have you ever wondered what the Church means when we profess that we believe in ‘the communion of saints’? Did you know there are more saints than those canonized by the Church? Did you know that you’re one of them? This month we will explore how we are united with those who have gone before us as we seek holiness.
There is NO video for this lesson. However, please read the assigned sections in the YouCat, read the additional article, respond to the Parent and Teen reflection prompts and take the survey. Remember to have this all completed by next Sealed. 1 Session 7, Sunday March 8, 2020 in O'Donnell Hall at 3:30pm. Deacon Dick Williams will be our guest speaker. Please arrive ten minutes early so that we can begin our lesson on time!

This month, Candidates will continue their journey of exploring the Mass. Candidates will explore teachings about the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Jesus is the source and summit of our faith. The moment we recognize Jesus’ true presence, we ourselves can truly be present as we worship each Sunday. We have a very special teaching Mass that Monsignor Barry will guide us through class on January 12th. So please be sure to complete the readings and reflections below in preparation for that special Mass!
Please watch the video, read the assigned sections in the YouCat, read the additional article, and complete the Teen and Parent Reflection and bring a hard copy to class. Remember to have this all completed on the Saturday before the next SEALED. session, Sunday January 12, 2020 in St. Kateri at 3:30pm. Please show up at 10 minutes early for check in and Mass preparation. Dinner and small groups will take place after Mass.
This month, Candidates will begin their journey of exploring the Mass. The first lesson about the Mass covers the first main part of the Liturgy, the Liturgy of the Word. Sacred Scripture informs our teachings and practice. The more we know about the Mass, the more engaged we will be as we worship together each Sunday.
Please watch the video, read the assigned sections in the YouCat, read the additional article, and complete the Parent & Teen reflection prior to our next Sealed. 1 session on Sunday, December 1, 2019 in O'Donnell Hall at 3:30pm. Teens should show up to class 10 minutes early to socialize and to check in!

This month, Candidates will come to discover or rediscover Jesus as fully human and fully divine. This mystery is central to our faith. They will begin to recognize that Jesus struggled, felt pain, felt lonely, had doubts, had fear, and all at once redeems and saves us from all those things.
